Located in the heart of Texas, the Brownwood Quilters' Guild was established in May, 1984. (We are just 29 miles from the actual center of Texas.)

The guild was
established to promote the appreciation of quilting, to educate our members in various quilt and quilting techniques, support quilt making activities, and to provide a service to people and organizations in our area.

Our membership is composed of members from communities in Brown County and the surrounding area. Each month we participate in service projects, host guild programs,. and build friendships with other quilters. Because of
interest, an evening group was organized in the summer of 2006. The evening group is an extension of the morning guild.

If you are interested in quilting or would like to learn how to quilt, then we are the group you are looking for!
